Gullane Scone Cafe

Would you like to get out and about again?
Despite the rain lashing down, eight of us had a very pleasant morning in the Gullane Day Centre enjoying delicious ‘Cherish’ Scones and getting to know each other. The Community Connections volunteers were happy to welcome everyone and one of the guests was excellent at leading us in a quiz which caused much merriment. We all look forward to our next meeting on Saturday, 12th November, 10.30 to 12noon in the Gullane Day Centre.
If you know of anyone in Gullane who might be struggling with feelings of isolation and who needs to get out and make new friends, let us know. We also need volunteers to help with introducing people and serving tea, coffee and scones. Thanks to the Day Centre and ‘Cherish Vintage Tea Room’ the refreshments are free but donations are welcome.
